Before I left home, I had done some research, but made the mistake to think that all details could be handled once I was there. One is the straight forward "get it done quickly" model, which at least I would call the most common and basic service. The one you will find at clinics or brothels, as well as from the street sellers. The other one being more related to the escort scene, with longer meetings. Let me describe a typical situation for me in London: I would normally meet a girl that I have met before, or one that is recommended by either a girl I know or an agency that I trust (and who knows me and my preferences). We would meet at my hotel around 18:00-19:00. After clearing the financial transaction (by a discrete envelope handed over to her), we would either go for a dinner or a theatre show, or even both.
