Needy 2041 Skrevet 24.

Rafaela 378 Skrevet 25. August The Beastie Boys were the first successful white rap band. Their music, with its unique blend of punk rock and hip hop and irreverent and humorous lyrics, won over many fans and achieved great commercial and critical success… The song "Sabotage" stands out for its intensity and lyrics that resonate with the feeling of being sabotaged and manipulated. And…so…Have you ever noticed sabotage or felt sabotaged…? The video isn't very good, but the energy of whoever was there is really amazing… Live in Glasgow - Scotland (03.05.1999) at… (2:37) And Travis Kelce (American football player) and Jimmy Fallon (The Tonight Show) playing at being “Beastie Boys”, singing the famous song - (You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!) 3 Citér indlæg Del dette indlæg Link til indlæg
latinas4ever 1184 Skrevet 25. August Yeah, I get what you mean, @Rafaela. Here is the second successful white rapper with the song: White white baby! Og der skal skrues helt op, @Needy ! Here is another musicless music video, with Bee Gees, which incidentally adds a new genre to the thread: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENX8J1Itv8A And yes, there are indeed also speechless speeches. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPJ9w1dTjUo 2 1 Citér indlæg Del dette indlæg Link til indlæg

And then, the same song “Sabotage”, but in the official music video which is a fun parody of police series from the 70s and more the band's live performances, helped make the song one of the biggest hits. You're right @Soothsayer they're not...no more…Robert Smith with the band The Cure, is considered one of the pioneers of the gothic rock genre and was an inspiration for Jonathan Davis (Korn) to write his own songs, those with a dark and melancholic style… The interesting thing is that the song "In Between Days" belongs to the most accessible and commercial phase of The Cure, in which the band distanced itself from its more gothic roots to achieve more success...but...in this presentation the song has a very deep and sad melody and for me much more real and authentic to the meaning of the song. And next, a gothic metal video… The combination of Liv Kristine's lyrical female vocals (so beautiful and sweet) and Raymond Rohonyi's guttural male vocals (I love his voice)…

Soothsayer 335 Skrevet lørdag klokken 14:26 Calexico is such a weird band , one moment they sound like something Beth Gibbons could easily sing, the next they sound like Gypsy Link Wray and something that would fit perfect on an Quentin Tarantino soundtrack I think two or three of them even were in Americana Legends Giant Sand: Fyi: I think that these lyrics are some of my favourite ever about the dance . The fly here loves the spider As they dance around the bed The wilful wanton inside her Delivers desires to the heart and head When it's time to fly come morning The spider smiles and says nope He's grown to love the way your wings feel Hanging by a thread Well out on the ropes... 4 Citér indlæg Del dette indlæg Link til indlæg
latinas4ever 1184 Skrevet søndag klokken 09:06 Thanks @Rafaela, great video. I suspect Shakira will still look gorgeous at 60.

Soothsayer 335 Skrevet søndag klokken 23:22 Yeah, I loved everything about triphop. How it creeped it's way into popular music mid 90's to start 00's and big popstars where emulating the style (alot of great Danish musicians got very inspired also) For your pick which is a great Portishead song (humming) they made a synthezier sound like a Theremin which creates this eerie almost otherworldly sound, a technique they also used in one of my favourite Portishead songs: The Rip The Theremin is a wonderful instrument btw.
