It is a poem where she compares herself to the elements of nature and she says ”take me” and asks to be whirled, burned and entangled. I also liked Pretty Woman. If they made it today, maybe it would be about a pretty (and rich) woman and they would leave out the man. I do not think the movie is really about her massage work, it is more about how love can conquer anything. If you had a crush on Justin Timberlake then I think I can defend my Karol krush. Maybe I am too old for diva crushes but she is crisp, puffy and warm. And she is more than a pretty face, she has two university degrees for instance. This is from Justins new album. I really like the Tiny Desk format. 1 Citér indlæg Del dette indlæg Link til indlæg

This acoustic performance is really good All the songs are old (except the first one he sang, “Selfish”, which is from his latest album - 2024) and which I posted the other day along with Jimmy Fallon, who is also at the beginning of the video. It's curious to me you say that Karol has two university degrees, because I never actually look at that I may eventually know something or even have a little curiosity, but overall I like the artist for what he is able to convey… A video with songs from the latest album, and he is still very good… 2 Citér indlæg Del dette indlæg Link til indlæg

Astrofysiker lød ellers godt. Så lidt mere Heisenberg. Den sang kendte jeg ikke, den er også før min tid, men den er ellers god. Apropos space, her er et lidt nyere Jarre nummer. I like how someone grabs his mic at 3:39, must be crew. Well, I watched her Netflix documentary. I am normally not interested in their private lives either. I guess I just like her. Have you ever seen a Justin concert? Would you travel to watch it if he did not play in Denmark? Me and her will have to discuss her plagiarism of my EG username, a very serious matter for the consideration of Stapler. Citér indlæg Del dette indlæg Link til indlæg

It's interesting how different cultures and ways of life are in different parties of Denmark - though it is a small country. People in Hvide Sande - and in Western Jutland in general - are quiet people. They don't talt much, they take life very serious, and some are very strickt religious, unlike most Danes - with a rather stern enterpretation of Christianity. Here is a tribute to Hvide Sande - from a Rock-Folk singer who grew up there. The atmosphere in the song and the video really describes the place very well ... From the text: "You took my hand, my town and my heart at the quiet street corner, my calm and my pain Confused by life, I think I never really learned it You took my hand and showed me the way away and then back again" Caught between the wish to live a life as a young man with his friends, his band and pleasent times in the local pub, and the traditional church going life ... And a love declaration to the quiet, rather remote town and the harsh nature ... 1 Citér indlæg Del dette indlæg Link til indlæg

In fact, I didn't even watch, but the music that played when the series was announced caught my attention. I know it's about a crime that would be investigated, but when I read the synopsis I thought that because of the beauty of the name “White Sands”, it was a fictitious name and after a long time I discovered that the city exists... Talking about old men and Creedence, here is John Fogerthys come-back and only bigger hit in the mid 80'es "Proud Mary" was actually Creedence's breakthrough and was a huge hit worldwide in '69 (I think it was) So @latinas4ever - you obviously belong to a later generation ... Back in the 60´s, Dylan was romantically and musically involved with folk singer Joan Baez. She recorded a number of traditional songs, and a young danish would-be artist back then, Kim Larsen, owned an LP with her which was his favourite. He was heavily inspired to put it mildly by several of the songs she had recorded. The most obvious one here: Larsens version became a local classic that signified the passage from the sixties to the seventies and the awakening from the dreams to the new realities. Many danes are surprised hearing that it is a cover (even though it is a traditional, and therefore free for all to record). 3 Citér indlæg Del dette indlæg Link til indlæg
