So… @latinas4ever The rhythm is good...but her voice…sorry…for me it's not possible... I really like this video, the music, the scenery, a show of interpretation by flamenco dancer Patricia Guerrero…

The magic and spirituality of gipsy music…… Viento del Arena - Gipsy Kings (1989) Tristessa - Gipsy Kings (1982)

How people comment - YouTube didn't recommend the video to me - I researched it... The song is great, the lyrics are short and easy: "Push me…And then just touch me… Til I can get my…Satisfaction…” … Benny Benassi (Italian DJ and producer) Satisfaction - 2002

The song "El Tango de Roxanne" is a dramatic and intense adaptation of the original song "Roxanne" by the band The Police, written by Sting in 1978 and was recreated using the melody and structure of the tango to give depth to the narrative for the film "Moulin Rouge" in 2001. Sting's charm and talent Beautiful dance by the couple, a mix of "Paso Doble" (a spanish dance inspired by the tension and passion (unfortunately) of bullfighting) and Tango (Argentine / Uruguayan origin with a sensual and dramatic character)

I don't want spiders near me either... Lullaby...is a dark song, inspired by the bizarre lullabies that Robert Smith's father invented for him when he couldn't sleep... The next song, which I really like, is about the fascination with a woman who defies social standards and expectations, living authentically… The lady don’t mind - Talking Heads (1985)

I think his art and way of expressing himself make him attractive to them; this is an example that beauty doesn't matter when the person is (seems to be) very interesting. But I don't really know about girlfriends, I just wanted to know whose beautiful voice sang “Past Mistake” with Tricky… These months refer to single music releases in 1995. Karmacoma is before Overcome as it was first recorded in 1994 on the album Protection (Massive Attack) Yes, post-punk was characterized by sonic originality and creative freedom. Tricky, as an artist, demonstrated this by blending hip-hop, rock, and many other influences, creating a unique sound. I find it strange that you say this is your last post and I find the reasons that led you to this funny... but I'm going to leave aside my sensitive, perceptive, "mediumistic" side, and just say thank you for posting the video for Calexico's song "Black Heart."… Next song, one of my favorites from The Cure Lullaby - The Cure (1989)

Tricky is amazing...an experience.. He's widely recognized for pushing boundaries and creating a unique, experimental sound that sets him apart in the music scene. I love his seductive, whispered voice, his multifaceted musical style, which incorporates elements like alternative rock, electronic music, Jamaican dub, jazz, hip-hop... Next song, very emotional… written by Lubna, Tricky's ex-girlfriend. Past Mistake -Tricky feat. Lubna Maher (2008) The Only Way - Tricky (2017) And another Massive Attack song, which is part of the album Protection, when Tricky was still in the band. Karmacoma - Massive Attack (1994)

Yes, @sneræven I also think it's a form of expression. Some actors, for example, are very charming and convincing in some scenes while smoking, and in the case of singing while smoking, it's a way of expressing that they're very comfortable with what they do...even though for me singing and smoking don't go together… And in the same "trip-hop" style as Portishead, the next song “Teardrop" by Massive Attack feat. Elizabeth Fraser (Cocteau Twins) Teardrop - Massive Attack (1998) And one of the band's biggest hits, soundtracks for films and series: Angel - Massive Attack (1998)

I thought you might know the band because you also posted some alternative songs...I loved Portishead from the first time I listened it, and it was the song Glory Box. P.s.: I find it "surreal"...her singing while holding a cigarette and taking a drag when she has the opportunity... Glory Box - Portishead (1994)

I didn't know the Theremin instrument…I only knew that the dark, mysterious style I like comes from synthesizers - the monophonic synthesizer, used in some Portishead songs. The next song, which is among my favorites, also follows the same style… Mysterons - Portishead (1994)
  11. Rafaela skrev et svar til et svar i en tråd i Hyggesnak
Yes, I was reminded of Portishead when I listened “Black Heart”. I love this noir atmosphere - mysterious, sexy and dark in this video… Humming - Portishead (1997)

    Wow… @Soothsayer I didn’t know the song and I confess that I loved it… I must really have a black heart…

It's all good for me, I can understand... and then listen to this very happy and danceable song and as a bonus the beautiful Shakira for you to admire… Attention: This song is for you to move the furniture out of the way and dance in front of the mirror… Fata Morgana - Dissidenten (1984)
  14. Rafaela skrev et svar til et svar i en tråd i Hyggesnak
You're right @Soothsayer they're not...no more…Robert Smith with the band The Cure, is considered one of the pioneers of the gothic rock genre and was an inspiration for Jonathan Davis (Korn) to write his own songs, those with a dark and melancholic style… The interesting thing is that the song "In Between Days" belongs to the most accessible and commercial phase of The Cure, in which the band distanced itself from its more gothic roots to achieve more success...but...in this presentation the song has a very deep and sad melody and for me much more real and authentic to the meaning of the song. And next, a gothic metal video… The combination of Liv Kristine's lyrical female vocals (so beautiful and sweet) and Raymond Rohonyi's guttural male vocals (I love his voice)… Theatre of Tragedy - Cassandra (1998)

Jonathan Davis (KORN) and Robert Smith (The Cure) - Wonderful… Make me bad (Korn - 1999) In Between Days ( The Cure - 1985)

I like that you understand... @latinas4ever but otherwise...if you didn't understand, I would explain with "surgical details"...that is, extremely detailed and meticulous... And then, the same song “Sabotage”, but in the official music video which is a fun parody of police series from the 70s and more the band's live performances, helped make the song one of the biggest hits. Sabotage - Beastie Boys (1994)

The Beastie Boys were the first successful white rap band. Their music, with its unique blend of punk rock and hip hop and irreverent and humorous lyrics, won over many fans and achieved great commercial and critical success… The song "Sabotage" stands out for its intensity and lyrics that resonate with the feeling of being sabotaged and manipulated. And…so…Have you ever noticed sabotage or felt sabotaged…? The video isn't very good, but the energy of whoever was there is really amazing… Live in Glasgow - Scotland (03.05.1999) at… (2:37) And Travis Kelce (American football player) and Jimmy Fallon (The Tonight Show) playing at being “Beastie Boys”, singing the famous song - (You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)

This is just a little bit, I would say a minimum of the immense talent of Jonathan Davis (lead singer of the band KORN)… Final days (Album: Black Labyrinth - 2018) The soundtrack for the movie "Queen of the Damned" was co-written and produced by Jonathan Davis. One of my favorite songs, although I like all songs... Slept so Long - Jonathan Davis (2002) Forsaken (Soundtrack: Queen of the Damned - 2002)

You're right @sneræven and it would be a “perfect world” if many people thought and acted like this, but unfortunately, the world isn't that way...But I do my part for good, and above all, I have a great perception of what's bad. By the way, there's a really good movie about a boy who, inspired by a school assignment, creates a project where people must perform three good deeds for others, without expecting anything in return, simply asking that these people return the favor to three more, thus creating a "chain of good" with the possibility of changing the world with small gestures. Watch it if you can; the movie's name is "Pay It Forward." And since we can dream of the best... Fantasy is a very emotional song for me, it's about the freedom to dream, the transformative power of imagination, it encourages people to seek personal fulfillment and find victory in their own "fantasy"…… Fantasy - Earth, Wind & Fire (1977)

I completely agree and I find it “worrying”, not to say “scary”, to reflect on this, because the ones in “command of the planet” are the species “human beings”…I won’t even go into detail about what I think about this… And…I really love this song and the lyrics suggest, among other things, that just as dolphins communicate in complex and emotional ways, humans can also connect on deep levels through love... The Dolphin's Cry - Band Live (1999)

I understand…but silence is also an answer… I love this song, very happy, their dancing, colorful clothes and the friendliness and charisma of the vocalist…

@Søren - Aalborg You don't need to understand me and I don't need to explain anything to you… The reactions are free and available for everyone to use. Have a good day Rafaela

Thanks @latina4ever for the video, I didn't know her. I'll watch it later with more time and attention. It's something I like to know, and from the little I've seen, I feel that what she says is the truth and not just some resentment… And if I like heavy metal, I can never forget Ronnie James Dio, or better known as “Dio”… and as he himself wrote - “Don't Talk To Strangers…”

Yes, a strange coincidence...And in searching for songs that have some connection to the Fall of the Berlin Wall...I chose "The Passenger" by Iggy Pop. The song was recorded in a studio near the wall, while Iggy Pop was living in Berlin during the division of the city. The song’s lirics which talk about watching the world pass by through the window, was inspired by Iggy Pop's travels on the Berlin subway, and the atmosphere of the divided city certainly influenced the feel of the song. The Passenger - Iggy Pop (1977) And more from Iggy Pop, known as the "Godfather of Punk," famous for his raw energy and theatrical performance…He is really intense, wild, unpredictable and fun…

Thanks for sharing @sneræven I understand what you mean...and yes, there is a big difference growing up in such different places. The name "Childhood Street" is already deeply poetic…The street where we lived our childhood is the very root of our being and the deep connection to the past... The following song is not exactly about the “childhood street” but it is interconnected since the lyrics reveal the idea of a vicious cycle that affects many poor boys. Anyway, I love this song… The Animals - House Of The Rising Sun
