They're highlighting that it may be hard to find someone as the OP describes, but if they ask around then they will probably find one. Although @DK guy 34 doesn't name any GP in particular, he then goes on to give encouragement and confidence to the OP, and then wishes them good luck. Nothing wrong with that. All fair and positive and something that the OP may, or may not, find useful themselves. If the comment is appreciated then i'm sure some people will 'like' the comment, as it appears in this case some have done. Therefore these comments have been useful to some people, just not you yourself, wouldn't you say? Sometimes we are short on confidence, or knowledge about the way in which this world works. Personally, I am fairly new and inexperienced in this scene, so I greatly appreciate any advice and encouragement from more experienced members than me. Otherwise, it becomes extremely intimidating and tiring to gain this experience on my own. If not for the benefit of others' experience, then what is EG for? Some of your posts are in fact useful, but it is down to us all as individuals to decide the value of it, we cannot decide for others and should not try to quieten some members whose comments you do not value as useful, because others might value them differently.

I've been using EG for a couple of months now and see your name everywhere commenting needlessly on numerous posts, telling everyone how they should behave, making sarcastic comments and generally introducing a negative tone to what is otherwise an extremely friendly, supportive and helpful forum. To be honest as an outside observer, although you sometimes make a funny comment that gets some laughs it seems to be you who is filling up the boards with pure noise. And then you attack others for doing what they can if it does not fit your idea of what EG should be about. How about you let other people write what they want to write about and if it's not useful for you then don't read it or get involved? What is not useful to you may be invaluable to another. It isn't for you to decide that. For someone not so versed in this world, the comments of @DK guy 34 can guide and help you along the way. We are not all as experienced as you @Bebop and therefore may need a little push in the right direction sometimes. Otherwise, have a happy Monday gents.
