Morning Fellow Brothers in (GP) arms, I have a no idea of how many new users EG gets per day/week/month. But i am pretty sure that it’s guite alot. Those newcomers would most probably represent an average of how people tend to approach other social media of today. At the same time some of us old bastards gets influenced of how the society gets more and more polarised per day. That gives you a perfect melting pot of people that are nasty, don’t care, just want their opinion to be heard and the best way to make that happend is to get some cheap laughs on the behalf of, in their opinion, peoples faults. People are so quick to judge. I remember a time where YOU needed to think before you even put your fingers on the keyboard. Nowadays peoples fingers seems to be disconnected from their brains and by the look of some posts, to be runned by a secondary source. I see some of the veterans of EG going down the same path as some of the Newbie Keyboard Warriors. I do not jump to conclusion easily but….. but there must be some major frustration piled up in our society today. People tend to be so unsatisfied with their lifes (and wifes) so they have an urge to to dump their crap on others and then they hide behind ”freedom of speech” qoutes thats sickens me. Before you pull the FoS card make sure you know the meaning of it. You have the rights to speak out, to say whats on your mind, to say that you don’t agree. But there is no freedom of speech that gives you the rights to hurt, surpress, dominate, humiliate. I had the unpleasure to see some of this in @Mr. Sensual’s post the other that and I shake my head in dispear of the lack of humor some people tend to have.
