Why does any of us work ?
Monetary compensation.
Which in turn makes our lives easier and better.
Sure a small percentage do what they do out of interest. 
But, as I work for the buck, I expect that's why most do. 
Respect and all that jazz is great, but it wont pay the rent.

That said.
Of course every girl should be treated with respect, and any and all rules she has should be followed.
