That is THE RULE! Don’t ever pay in advance no matter what excuse the have, unless you are ready to loose the money. Som will come up with the excuse that previuos customers have cheated them. And if they start asking for gift cards its a sure give away that its a scam. 
 

Depending on how you send the money you might have the option of reporting it to the police. 

If I would EVER send money n advance I would only do it with mobilepay as the users needs to have a danish CPR number to use this. So ir would not be to hard to find out who is behind that account. But again, I don’t Think I would ever send money in advance.
