Even if its not full on sex, your genitals is still in contact and can spread Herpes. What are your thoughts on this considering the fact that even if a person doesnt have symtoms like cold sores or blisters they can still pass it on to next person.

Most people has the virus in their bodies now a days.. 80% of grownups has antibodies in their blood from having it.. Maybe get it checked because if you already have the antibodies there's no reason to worry..

I dont have it because Ive only had one sexual partner and I've done blood test for HSV antibodies.

Also I know a lot think like you which isnt very comforting. That makes it seem like people is not taking it seriously and risk infecting those who in fact doesnt have the antibodies. I mean you cant just assume people already have it?

Most people with the virus contracted it as babies.. But if you have had the test then you’re safe.. 

Its not just something i think.. Its statistics..

Im talking about genital herpes not cold sores on mouth, maybe I should have specified that. What I know if most babies are not born with genital herpes..

I think as least everyone recognize a venereal disease like disgusting things - and if both giving and taking(both partners) are not mutually assured outcomes for the venereal disease test, I don’t think they’ll play the game ; )

Both HSV-1 and HSV-2 can be transmitted to the genitals so I'm not sure that your facts are up to date..
