sneræven 2511 Skrevet 7. November (edited) Endnu een fra New Wave bølgen omkring 1980 ... Jeg kendte godt Adam and the Ants, men kunne ikke lige huske det her nummer ... Redigeret 7. latinas4ever 1297 Skrevet 8. November Den kendte jeg ikke @sneræven, kendte faktisk heller ikke Adam and the Ants. Interessant nummer.

Redigeret 9. Yes, you are right…but when I posted the video about "connected," I wasn't referring to relationships that originate from the online world, because except you and a few others here in the music thread that I sometimes talk to, since we exchange experiences with music that moves us in some way, I dont talk to strangers online… seriously, totally true……And I rarely participate in debates or hyggesnak because most of the topics are just repetitive…So…conversation online is only for necessary matters, nothing about relationships or the search for them… The video I posted about “connected” is about being in danger if you're not able to perceive the intentions of strangers, it's about keeping an open mind to understand the intentions of others and knowing how to protect oneself from online vulnerability… The next song isn't about the theme of being "connected," but it offers a humorous critique of the pursuit of social acceptance through the superficial imitation of other cultures… Pretty Fly (For a White Guy) - Offspring - 1998 Redigeret 10. latinas4ever 1297 Skrevet 10. November About discussions being repetetive, It is just the nature of the topic, I think. Everything that can possibly be said about big tits has been said a thousand times over. I cannot tell if I am that guy with the superficial imitation of other cultures, haha. Thanks. @Rafaela is hard hitting this time of year. They used to have a saying: On the internet, no one knows if you are a dog. And there was also another saying: Pimps don’t cry.

Released as a single in November 1984, it reached number One in the UK in March 1985, remaining at the top for seventeen weeks. latinas4ever 1297 Skrevet 11. November 17 weeks at the top of the charts, hm? I can believe it but I had not heard that song before @Rafaela. It has that unmistakeable 80s sound. We continue the regularly scheduled superficially imitated cultural appropriation of modern latin music. Maybe I will even post Vanilla Ice! This song doubles up as my advice to the thread about how to hit on one’s 64 year old neighbour. So please take notes, you don’t want to miss out on that silver beaver.

I wasn't referring to you or your musical taste… Observe at the Offspring video: the song title, the lyrics and the guy dancing in the video - He is satirizing the “superficial imitation of other cultures”; it's about trying to be accepted by imitating someone else instead of being yourself. latinas4ever skrev, for 17 timer siden: We continue the regularly scheduled superficially imitated cultural appropriation of modern latin music Post as many songs as you want… The next song, "It's So Easy" by Guns N' Roses, directly exposes the contradiction between the appearance of an easy life and the emptiness that accompanies sudden success. The lyrics highlight a daily life of excess, flattery and superficial relationships. This was the band's environment at the time, surrounded by people attracted only by glamour and fame, which reinforces the ironic and mocking tone of the song. "It's So Easy" portrays early fame as something seemingly simple, but incapable of bringing true satisfaction. latinas4ever 1297 Skrevet 14.
