Cozy restaurant in Copenhagen

The Corona and related changes as well as entry restrictions have messed up many plans lately. I currently need a negative corona test no older than 72 hours to enter DK. Testing once is okay, it's done. However, I had originally planned to spend a few days in Randers next week, return to Germany, celebrate my birthday comfortably and return to DK / Copenhagen. Well that doesn't work now because I don't want to do a continuous corona test. With my family we moved my birthday and I will stay in DK/ Copenhagen that day. It's not going to be a big party, but we want to have a cozy evening with a couple of girls, I know who will be in Copenhagen by then, in a cozy place where not too many people come and go. Simply cozy and relaxed. I don't know Copenhagen very well, have only visited a few sights including Christianshavn. Does anyone know of a nice place to spend a cozy evening?

If you are into laid back French brasserie or bistro, I would definitely go for Melee in Frederiksberg. It is a great place, cozy French atmosphere and delicious food. If you are more into a broader Mediterranian kitchen, I can recommend Anarki, alson in Frederiksberg but in another neighborhood. They have mixed Italian, French and Spanish cuisine. Realky cozy, good service and laid back.

About a year ago, an East African place was reviewed here on the site. I thought it sounded like a small, cozy place.

Something I enjoy myself is Korean food, with or without a table grill. It is usually a lot of small dishes that can be shared by the whole table so you taste a lot of different things without stuffing yourself completely. My favourite places are Seoul in Vanløse (room a bit worn out, but the food is good), Kopan Rice near the Nørreport station or Teppan House close to Flintholm station, but there are many others.

I’m sort to hear that you won’t be able to spend your birthday  with your family.

Restaurant Naert is highly recommended. The restaurant is small, stylish and the food is outstanding.
 

You get a really good 7 dish new-Nordic tasting menu at just 495,- per pax. Would highly recommend going with the wine menu as well. The wines selected go astonishingly well with the food.

Frederiksberg has, as another member (Roger Rabbit) informs, a cozy restaurant life.
However, restaurants in Denmark can never compete with the quality of the Swiss restaurants, if the price is to be kept at a reasonable level and quality, and the desire for a place that is not too 'busy' is also a must. A bid could be
Josty. Located next to Frederiksberg Garden, is cozy and affordable prices.

 

You will also have the opportunity to go downstairs to test yours and your friends bowling skills. As i remember free of charge.

Well there is always restaurant the Golden Seagull, but offcource you would like some even more cozy 

One who might help you is @Rejsenetværk, he maybe can only respond you in danish, guess that he's not so safe in english, but you'll mannage for sure,,
